It’s possible you consider it scary to look at, let alone work with it.  The controller obviously shows difficulties in understanding the technical basics and fundamental interactions. Probably it will require vast training in order to control that thing – right?

Time for a change – making automation easier to understand

The machine market business has been consistently very technical and specialized, but why? So we dare to say that anyone should be capable to automate and control our Robotturn. Our belief stands for making the robot cells more human-like and making automation easier to understand for the masses.

The complex pendant controller is a huge blockage in the shown model. So, we settled to use an interface people are more accustomed with: touchscreen with graphic interface.

The difficult task was to redesign the digital controller interface of the Robot. Instead of a pendant with hundreds of unknown buttons, that’s being the standard since forever, we choose a very ingenious decision to use a touchscreen with very easy graphic interaction, to control the robot loader and kept the Lathe controller as standard. This signifies that the lathe can be used as standard CNC machine to make one single piece manually without the interaction of the robot.

All possible loading -unloading cycles are pre-programmed and the operator needs only to fill in the values of the different stop/start points in the graphic interface. This can be done with a simple input button. As easier as this is not possible!
